Hello, I'm Debra, pastry chef, creator, and lifelong lover of all things sweet.
My journey into baking began at just nine years old with my very first Easy-Bake Oven. I can still remember the excitement of creating my own tiny cakes and the pride that came with it. That early spark quickly grew into a lasting passion.
I went on to refine my craft at the Culinary Institute of America (CIA), where I developed a strong foundation in pastry arts. After graduating, I had the opportunity to serve as a Pastry Chef at the historic five-star Hay-Adams Hotel in Washington, DC. In that fast-paced, high-standard environment, I honed my skills in precision, flavor balance, texture, and presentation, learning that every dessert should be as beautiful as it is delicious.
Today, I pour that same level of care and creativity into every item I make. From cakes and cupcakes to cobblers, pies, brownies, and cookies, each dessert is crafted using high-quality ingredients and a genuine love for the art of baking.
